This piece was done for the Enchanted Artists book "Visions of Atlantis", and has been chosen for the cover of that book. Info on the book follows my art description.

THE ART

11x17" Watercolor and colored pencil on watercolor block.
Sort of a spin on the Little Mermaid tale, but in this, a merman falls in love with a statue of a woman long gone. Perhaps even an ancestor? A ruined city under the waves surrounds them.

And, hey! Knotwork! Who'd a thunk it? There's a couple of shots of this in progress in my scraps section.
